AS1851:2005 Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems and Equipment is the recently released new standard which consolidates the previous 16 standards into one document with consistent procedures, terminology and reporting.
This white paper gives an overview of the legislative, regulatory and other non-technical aspects of the significantly updated standard.

Fire System Services is an independently owned family Company based in Adelaide, South Australia. We specialise in the field of fire safety maintenance. The Managing Director, Mr Nick Papamichael has worked extensively in the fire safety industry since 1992. Our existing customer base encompasses retail shops and shopping centers, clothing outlets, nurseries, bakeries, hairdressers, video outlets, cafe's & restaurants, hotels & motels, caravan parks, workshops, manufacturing & processing plants and factories, multi level commercial buildings & offices, industrial complexes, schools, colleges, churches and nursing homes (just to mention a few). We are also the preferred supplier for a number of Adelaide based construction companies, property managers and developers.

We pride ourselves in being able to provide a friendly and professional service through our open manner and personal approach to your fire protection needs.
We aim to meet all our deadlines and projects in a timely manner. We have networked our services with other fields within the industry and in return we are able to offer reasonable prices to enable Customers to meet their Essential Services requirements.

National Hydro Cylinder Testing Services is a division run and managed under Fire System Services.
National Hydro Cylinder Testing Services is where we test and certify a vast array of high pressure cylinders.
We can either carry out a hydrostatic test or Eddy Current Test.

Accountability

At Fire System Services all our Staff and Contractors are obligated to obtain a National Police Clearance Certificate on an Annual Basis, thus
giving our clients piece of mind that the persons engaged by Fire System Services do not hold any criminal convictions.

NATO NCB Certificate

Fire System Services Pty Ltd, has been issued a NATO Commercial and Government Entity Code (NCB Certificate) issued by the
Australian National codification Bureau as a registered supplier of Fire Safety Equipment and Cylinder Testing Services
to Local and International Government and Defence Force Departments.
